Students will learn reading readiness skills as Beginning Sounds, Short Vowels, Word Families, Reading Sight Words Manuscript Writing.
It helps students develop.

Letter Knowledge:
1. Learn to recognize capital letters
2. Learn to recognize lowercase letters
3. Learn to recite the alphabet song

Phonological Awareness:
1. Identify the beginning and ending sounds in a word.
Print Awareness:
2. Understand that the words on the page can be read.
3. Understand that books are read from cover to back, and
sentences are read from left to right.
